STAFF/Player/Parent Agreement

​Club Conduct Policy

To promote team unity and establish a positive identity for the Club, all players and parents are expected to conduct themselves with honesty, professionalism, and respect. This includes showing consideration for teammates, other Club members, coaches, referees, spectators, and opposing players and coaches.

Whether at games or practices, the Club expects players and parents to:

1. Conduct themselves in a proper and socially acceptable manner.

2. Exhibit behavior that prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of others.

3. Refrain from using profanity, offensive language, or ethnic and religious slurs.

4. Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances, whether local, state, or federal.

5. Avoid any behavior intended to humiliate, intimidate, or demean others.

Acts of disrespect toward coaches, players, spectators, opposing teams, or referees—or violations of these standards of conduct—may result in consequences at the discretion of the coach. These may include temporary suspension of the player or parent involved.

Repeated or severe violations may lead to permanent removal from the Club, pending review and a final decision by the Club President.

Roster Commitment:

Any athlete on the team roster who is a no-show or fails to communicate with team management for a period of 30 days will be automatically removed and released from the roster. This policy ensures transparency and fairness within the team while providing opportunities for committed players on the waiting list who are eager to join.

Anti-Bullying Policy:

Bullying of any kind is strictly prohibited within our club, both on and off the pitch. We are unwavering in our commitment to fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and sportsmanship. All members are encouraged to support the #StopBullying movement as we work together to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone involved with the STL Lions Club.
